Where you stay: hotel, transfers and recovery days
The days around surgery are mostly rest. Where you stay, and how you get to and from the clinic, matter more than you might think.
Most Turkish clinics that treat UK patients arrange a hotel and transfers as part of the package. With Precious Dental, the All-on-6 package includes 4 hotel nights on the first implant visit and 5 on the second, plus airport and clinic transfers. Flights are not included. Plan the days after surgery as rest days.
What's usually arranged for you
Clinics that treat UK patients usually include accommodation and transport in the price, because getting to appointments after surgery shouldn't be your problem. Always check exactly what's included, in writing.
| Item | With Precious Dental | What to check elsewhere |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel, trip one | 4 nights included | How many nights, and whether breakfast is included |
| Hotel, trip two | 5 nights included | Same again |
| Airport transfers | Included | Both ways, both trips |
| Clinic transfers | Included | To and from every appointment |
| Flights | Not included | Usually not included anywhere |
| Extra nights | Ask your coordinator | Who pays if treatment runs over |
Planning the recovery days
The first day or two after implant surgery are for resting. Expect some swelling and tiredness. It helps to:
- Keep your diary empty on surgery day and the day after
- Have soft food and water to hand in your room
- Keep your phone charged and your coordinator's number saved
- Follow the aftercare sheet you're given, and ask if anything is unclear
- Save sightseeing for later in the trip, or for the second visit
What to eat and how to clean in those first days is covered in detail on our sister guide, allon6implant.co.uk.
Travelling with a companion
Many people bring a partner, friend or relative. It isn't required, but it helps: someone to keep you company on rest days, remember what the dentist said, and handle the airport on the way home. Tell the clinic in advance so transfers and rooms can be arranged.
Booking flights
- Wait for your written plan before booking anything.
- Choose flexible tickets if you can. The NHS advises allowing for the possibility of extending your stay.
- Check direct routes to Antalya from your nearest UK airport. Schedules change with the seasons.
- Ask for airport assistance from your airline if walking long distances is hard.
If you need to come back
If a repair is needed under guarantee, our terms say the work is done at the clinic in Antalya, we provide hotel accommodation for the treatment period, and you arrange your own flights. Ask any clinic the same question before you book: the Oral Health Foundation lists "who pays for extra travel, accommodation or corrective work if something goes wrong?" among the questions to ask.
Common questions
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, and many people do. Ask the clinic whether a companion can share your room and what that changes.
Can I choose my own hotel?
Usually, yes. If you book your own, check how transfers to the clinic will work, and stay somewhere quiet where you can rest.
What if I need to stay longer?
Ask before you book what happens if extra nights are needed and who pays. Book flights you can change if possible.
Is it a holiday?
Not really, especially on the first trip. The NHS advises choosing treatment on the quality of care, not how appealing the destination is. You can enjoy the city, but plan to rest after surgery.

Thinking about the trip?
Tell us where you're flying from and what you'd like done. A patient coordinator replies in plain English, and will say so honestly if travelling isn't the right step for you.
