Editorial policy

Who writes and reviews

Pages are written by the Precious Dental editorial team and reviewed for medical accuracy by Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek, our implant surgeon. The reviewer's name and the month of the last update are shown at the top of each article. See the editorial team.

Our rules

1. Readers first. We write for UK adults, many over 50, deciding whether to travel for full-arch implants. Plain English, short sentences, no jargon without an explanation.
2. Sources for facts. Medical and travel facts link to the NHS, GOV.UK, the General Dental Council, the Oral Health Foundation, the Civil Aviation Authority, HealthTürkiye or published research.
3. Our clinic labelled. Anything about Precious Dental, including prices, packages and our recommendation, is labelled as ours.
4. No promises of results. We describe what usually happens and what can go wrong. Nobody can promise how your own treatment will go.
5. The reasons not to go. Each major topic includes the cases where travelling abroad is not the right choice.
6. No invented content. No made-up patients, quotes, reviews, statistics or awards. No AI images of people, teeth or results.
7. Other clinics treated fairly. We do not write about other named clinics on this site, and we never make claims about them we cannot source.

Updates

We review travel rules whenever GOV.UK updates its Turkey advice and medical content at least once a year. Mistakes are fixed as described in our corrections policy.
